VP / Information Technology

Purpose of Position: Provides information technology subject matter expertise in support of specific bank business operations technical needs. Develops and maintains pro-active network management services to enable problem identification and resolutions to occur with minimum service interruptions to customers and employees. Supports and implements IT solutions for bank enterprise production use. Creates and manages IT budget and costs expense by exercising financial prudence. Develops strong working relationships with other bank departments, outside vendors and user groups. Participates in bank-wide management activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or four or more years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret the most complex documents. Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints. Ability to write speeches and articles using original or innovative techniques or style. Ability to make effective and persuasive speeches and presentations on controversial or complex topics to senior management, public groups, and board of directors.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

4+ years experience in the following:

  • leading an internal technical team and managing third party vendor support services
  • implementing large-scale systems in a production Microsoft based virtual environment.
  • administering hosted IBM core applications and Microsoft based environment.
  • administering Microsoft Windows OS servers, Exchange and Office 365 services, SQL servers
  • Advanced PC skills using Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Visio and PowerPoint
  • Demonstrated ability to use discretion and maintain confidentiality in performance of job duties.
  • Valid Driver's license and transportation, including appropriate insurance, for travel between locations.
  • Ability to be on-call by mobile phone and in person to participate as needed 24/7 to support Bank network and application services during outage incidents, projects and after-hours maintenance activities.
