FT Floating Teller

Purpose of Position:

Provide excellent and professional customer service. Process both business and individual banking transactions. Manage a cash drawer with accuracy. Follow proper policies and procedures. Maintain and promote customer relationships. Provides staffing coverage at various branches, as needed or scheduled.

Basic Responsibilities:

• Process customer transactions in either the bank lobby or drive-thru windows
• Perform regulatory functions for those transactions which require them, such as Reg CC and BSA forms
• Responsible for accurate daily balancing of a cash drawer
• Sell Cashier Checks, Money Orders, and Official Bank Checks
• Redeem Savings Bonds and process Cash Advances
• Provide customer service that builds customer relationships, cross-sell bank products/services, and assist customers with problem resolution
• Provide staff coverage at all branches, as needed or scheduled
• May be required to cross-train as a Personal Banker

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 6 months prior teller experience or experience in positions requiring heavy cash handling and balancing
• Ability to communicate with customers in a clear, concise, and professional manner
• Basic PC experience, including Windows 10
• Ability to sit and stand for extended periods of time
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
• Ability to recognize and differentiate colors
• Extensive customer contact requiring proven skills in building relationships which will enhance the overall marketing effort of the Bank
• Ability to cross-train as a Personal Banker
• Valid driver's license and insurance for travel between branches
